9 Year Old Lancashire boy "fell through a roof"

A 9 year old boy, Leon Langford, was found this morning in a serious condition after falling through a factory roof.


Leon was last seen playing with friends at a park on Ivy Street in Blackburn at 4pm on Sunday 7th October.



Police believe they have found the young boy who they describe as "in a serious condition" after he fell through a factory roof.


According to a police statement, officers were called to a factory in the Infirmary area of the town just after 8am on Monday 8th October after staff members found a boy on the factory floor.


Leons father issued an appeal for help on social media with a picture of his son on Sunday evening.


After Leon was found< his father Dave Langford thanked those who had responded to the campaign saying "[I] really want to say a massive thank you to all that helped me through the night and this morning to help me find my son. He is in a bad way but on the way to Alder Hey [hospital]"
